This is a weekly meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Here are the rules– Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
Grab your current read
Open to a random page
Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere    on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE  SPOILERS!(make sure that what you share doesn’t  give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the  book for others!)
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I’m *so* excited about two new fantasy novels coming out soon, so I’m including a teaser from each one. You won’t have to wait long to get your own copy-both release dates are right around the corner!

Releasing August 1st: “The Black God’s War” by Moses Siregar III

“Even after sending back his pain to its sender, his mind clung desperately to one small tree in the middle of the raging hurricane: the intention that he underwent this suffering for all sensitive beings. He wished that his torment would lessen the pain of all the worlds, seeding his suffering with purpose.” p. 281

If this intrigues you, be sure to check back on August 1st for my review and your chance to WIN your very own copy of this novel! Three lucky winners will take home their very own digital copy!

I’ve been anticipating this novel ever since I read the novella “teaser” (currently available FREE!) last February. Be sure to check out my review to see my thoughts!

Also highly anticipated is “The Wayfarer King” by K. C. May, releasing August 4th

“In a short time, she’d developed a deeper bond with Gavin than she’d ever had with her late husband. He might not have Adro’s charm or dimples, but he was strong and masculine and determined with a pleasant humor and eyes so deep she could get lost in them.” p. 151

Be sure to check my blog on August 4th to read my review and your chance to WIN a copy of your own! Two lucky winners will win a digital copy!

This is a sequel to “The Kinshield Legacy,” one of only a handful of books to earn 5 stars from me! Read my review here.

  2. Teaser Tuesday:

The Book I’m reading right now is actually my own (I was checking formatting, and just enjoying reading my own book on my Nook): Twin Rivers by Jessica Buike.

Sentences: “The boy raised his arm and pointed at me, taking a step closer. I jumped in fright, pulling the curtains closed and racing to the door to lock it. After securing all the doors and pulling all the shades tight, I huddled in the only spot in the home without windows, shivering. Though I was nearly dry from the afternoon rain, I felt as if my body were made of ice. ”

You can read the first 15% of the book for free at: http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/75080
